Scholarship Opportunities
College and Academic Scholarships
Those graduating from or who live in our service area and entering appropriately accredited post-secondary education institutions – including trade schools, two-year degree programs, community colleges, and four-year degree colleges and universities - are welcome to review the eligibility guidelines for these scholarships.
We hold many types of scholarship funds for those pursuing higher education. In addition to the scholarship funds we hold, we accept applications on behalf of local organizations like Southern Michigan Bank & Trust. Other Scholarships
The Community Foundation offers more than just traditional college and academic scholarships. Additional opportunities can be found below for summer music camps and Girls Scouts Camp. Each scholarship below has its own application and requirements. Details are available in each scholarship's information packet. Music & Arts Summer Camp Scholarships
The Wendi A. Baker Music & Theatre Summer Camp Scholarship is for students attending Coldwater Legg Middle School or Coldwater High School seeking to increase proficiency in music, choral, or theatre experience.
The Irma L. English Memorial Music Scholarship is available to any music student attending one of the five area Branch County schools (Bronson, Coldwater, Pansophia, Quincy and Union City). At least one student will be selected from each school to attend the Michigan band camp of their choice. Please see the application process for the requirements of this scholarship.
Applications are open from January 1 - January 31 each year.
Branch County Girl Scouts Scholarship
Apply for a scholarship to attend a girl scouts camp in Michigan! The Branch County Community Foundation is offering scholarships through the Branch County Girl Scouts Fund (A Fund of the Branch County Community Foundation) for Branch County Girl Scouts to attend Girl Scouts camps in Michigan!
