Community Good Grant Cycle Opens August 1

The Community Good Grant Cycle at the Branch County Community Foundation will be opening soon! This competitive cycle is held once per year in August and offers grants to support charitable programs and projects that benefit Branch County and Colon.

Our vision is a prosperous, collaborative, and welcoming Branch County community that promotes a strong sense of belonging and pride in its residents and provides opportunities for all to grow and thrive.

We are accepting applications and proposals that will address the needs of our community within the following priority areas:

Building Our Livelihood

Economic Development & Infrastructure Projects

Developing Our Talent

Includes projects in the areas of Education, Workforce Development, Youth Development and Engagement, and Community Leadership

Caring for Our People

Human/Social Services projects that address needs such as Poverty, Housing, and Mental and Physical Health

Enriching Our Community

Arts, Culture, Entertainment, Recreation, Diversity, and Environment

If you're interested in applying for a grant, please give us a call at the office (517-278-4517) to discuss the project before applying for a grant. With that discussion, the Community Foundation can gather enough information to assess if there is funding available for the particular project or interest area, before going through the formal grant application process.

Additional grant information, plus the grant application and instructions are available on our website under Funding Opportunities.
